First, Food was great! Came out fast and fresh! No wait during the weekday. My waitress was very pleasant to me. ( dispute being the only black person in the building) I would definitely return. Give them a try!
This is my go to place for homemade breakfast, lunch or dinner. Friendly service and great ambiance. Everything your order always tastes delicious and they are consistent. I love when I go to eat and love it, that when I repeat the visit I get the same service and quality of food. I definitely recommend this place.
3/15/24, still holding it's ground. For decades my go to for great food at a great price. 10/3/23 update, STILL ROCK SOLID local eatery. As usual I wen with a burger and fries, bride chose the Reuben. Both were comforting, filling and tasty...........it has been, as they say a minute since I have been to Fat Jacks. In a world full change I am happy to say they have not. My go to has always been the burger and fries. Superb today as it was in the 80's. NOTHING has changed!!! Even the menu seemed to be the same. Prices are the only change and even those are VERY reasonable. Mark and crew are underrated for the quality, taste, and value they provide to the community.
Amazing diner! I live in NYC and was in town visiting in laws - both the omelette and the reuben were awesome and the waitstaff were super nice. Definitely stop by!
Love this place!! Very nice small town feel to this diner, with its veteran and family friendly atmosphere. This is our go-to breakfast place for my fiancee and I. The customer service is always friendly and prompt,the decor is lovely and interesting and the prices are affordable!! We always go for the omelettes or Fat Jack deal and The food is ALWAYS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! Overall, 5 stars!!!!
When entering Parking Lot didn't realize it was here. When I entered I was transported back to the 70's-80's to a local dinner/hangout. The staff were friendly and helpful and I felt like I had been coming here for years! Our waiter was prompt, courteous, and professional. Brody was a great food service worker and host. I have a new go to...... Next can't wait to try their Breakfast!!!
Their breakfast is excellent. The restaurant does get very crowded and the seating can feel a bit tight, but it’s well worth it.
Special was a strip steak dinner for 12 bucks. Really good. I had the tuna platter with fruit on side. I wanted my tuna salad on toasted bun, so they did get me the bun. Service was great, food great and staff great. Can't beat those three important factors.
I love taking my 3 year old here on breakfast dates. The food is decent and the portions are generous. I don't have a million dollars to spend on breakfast, and this little place does not disappoint. The people that work here are delightful and the clientele is really nice. There have been times I've had some really nice conversations with some of the older folks that go there for breakfast. The establishment is nicely decorated in a way that I can only describe as "comfy". Last time I took my daughter to breakfast she was absolutely in love with the Halloween decorations. So, with that in mind- if you want the fanciest, most mouth watering, delicious, restaurant breakfast ever - this isn't your spot. If you want a place that is family friendly, cozy and will fill your belly without breaking the bank and you are ok with the food being decent and not gourmet then this is your place.
Great little spot to eat nothing fancy people there were pleasant and friendly. Food was good and on the table in front of me very fast and prices appeared to be very kind on the budget, which can’t be said for most places anymore. 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend.
